Rowledge Renergades under 19s finals day is at Valley End CC.
Rowledge’s teenagers have reached the finals day of the Surrey section of the Vitality ECB National T20 competition on Sunday 6th September 2020.
It has been a fantastic effort by the squad of 18 players who have beaten a trio of Surrey Championship teams in a strong group containing Cranleigh, Guildford, Normandy and Valley End. Three wins and Cranleigh conceding (due to Covid isolation issues) saw Rowledge finish top of the five team league and reach the Surrey Finals Day at Valley End (near Chobham) on Sunday (September 6) with an 11 am semi-final start against Sutton Sharks. If Rowledge win, they will play either Esher or Valley End in the final at 3pm.
Manager Chris Yates warned: “The competition will be fierce and any of the teams could win it and Rowledge will have to be at their best to reach the final, let alone win the day. “But we’ve got a good young side, the previous results in the competition speak for themselves.”
Jontie Seeborn, Will Ryman (left), Ollie Baker, Ethan and Max Martin have all been playing regularly in the Southern Premier League Cup recently.
Semi final starts at 11 am Vs Sutton Sharks.
If we get through the final starts at 3 pm.
Bar and food open all day.
Covid rules to be adhered to and your support would be most welcome by the lads
